On 7 February the Gelato Festival Challenge visited Dordrecht in the Netherlands, where 26 gelato artisans competed to represent their country.
Carpigiani exhibited at Expo Sweet in Warsaw from 17 to 20 February 2019 with its local distributor, and hosted the Polish selection for the Gelato World Cup.
The Gelato Festival America North American Finals ran in Miami on 16 and 17 March 2019, with only previous festival winners invited to compete.
Carpigiani exhibited at Intersicop 2019 on stand 14 G08, supported by Spanish dealers, with machines on show and demonstrations by gelato and pastry chefs.
Carpigiani exhibited at Gulfood 2019, the world’s largest annual food and beverage show, at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 17 to 21 February.
On 7 February 2019, 25 Dutch gelato artisans competed in Dordrecht, with Guilty Pleasure and Homemade named the winning flavours.
Four new Carpigiani Magica Colore soft serve machines were installed at Disneyland Paris over four months.
Carpigiani China staged the first Carpigiani Gelato Cup with about 25 students from Jiangnan University in Wuxi, plus a seminar for around 250 students.
Carpigiani received the McDonald’s Global Reliability Award 2017 at the company’s World Wide Convention in Orlando, Florida.
