Carpigiani Gelato University exhibited at Gulfood in Dubai from 20 to 24 February 2023, with live demos of Synthesis 2 and the 243 T SP soft serve machine.
On 16 February 2023 the Gelato Festival World Masters tour stopped in Lillestrøm, Norway, where 11 gelato artisans from Norway and Denmark competed for a place in the European final.
Carpigiani was event partner for the 7th Italian Culinary Championships at Beer&Food Attraction in Rimini, 19 to 22 February 2023, supplying gelato technology to competing chefs.
Twenty-seven Belgian gelato artisans competed in Zandhoven on 7 February 2023. Three winners now head to the 2025 European finals of Gelato Festival World Masters.
Artisanal gelato sales in Europe reached almost 10 billion euros in 2022, up 13%. The 11th European Artisanal Gelato Day was previewed at Sigep in January 2023.
On 7 February 2023 Carpigiani Benelux hosted the Belgium stop of Gelato Festival World Masters, where more than 25 gelato artisans competed for European final places.
Fifteen German gelato artisans competed at Sigep in Rimini on 21 January 2023. The top three advance to the German finals in 2024.
At Sigep 2023 in Rimini, Carpigiani ran a programme of gelato, foodservice and pastry talks in Hall C1 and began celebrating 20 years of Carpigiani Gelato University.
Carpigiani took part in Sirha Lyon from 19 to 23 January 2023 with machines for gelato, pastry, foodservice and soft serve, plus daily chef demonstrations.
Seventeen Czech gelato makers competed in Prague on 6 December 2022, and three have qualified for the 2024 Czech Final of Gelato Festival World Masters.
