About the Supercapri Pastry
Supercapri Pastry is the pastry version of ISA’s Supercapri display cabinet, which stands out for its simplicity and everyday practicality.
It comes in two heights for two ways of presenting the product and three lengths, all of which channel together in linear or corner layouts. It has three ventilation options, heated glass and an R290 refrigeration unit.

What makes the Supercapri Pastry different

Simple and practical
Supercapri is ISA’s professional cabinet for simplicity and everyday practicality: two heights for two ways of presenting the product, three lengths, and linear or corner channelling.

Three airflows, one range
ISA builds three ventilation systems into its professional range, so the airflow can match what you sell: scooped gelato, tall “gelato mountains”, sticks, single portions or cold pastry.
Single evaporator, double front airflow
Plus is ISA’s original ventilation. One evaporator feeds two air outlets, at the front and in the centre, with the air moving from the customer side to the operator side. Trays sit at 11 degrees, which lifts the product into view and keeps serving comfortable. The gelato stays firmer on the customer side and softer where you scoop. It also suits ice cream on sticks, single portions and cold pastry.

Double evaporator, single rear airflow
Plus 1 uses two evaporators and one rear air outlet, with the air moving from the operator side to the customer side. The single supply allows one tray inclined at 3 degrees for cold pastry and single portions. The strong air throw and adjustable deflectors suit tall “gelato mountains” and ice cream on sticks.
Double evaporator, double rear airflow
Plus 2 pairs two evaporators with two air outlets, at the rear and in the centre, moving the air from the operator side to the customer side. The combination spreads the cold evenly over every tray. It suits gelato mountains, sticks, single portions and cold pastry.

No condensation on humid days
Double-heated side glass and a heated, laminated front glass keep the panes clear in demanding conditions. The operator can switch the top-glass heater on or off to suit the room’s temperature and humidity, which saves energy when it is not needed.

R290 dual-circuit refrigeration
The refrigeration unit runs on R290, a natural refrigerant, with a hermetic compressor and reverse-cycle defrost. ISA quotes 30% less vibration and noise than its R404A models and up to 10% lower energy use. Cyclopentane insulation performs about 20% better than conventional foam, which helps the cabinet hold climate class 7 (35 °C and 70% humidity).
Compressor-stop defrost on the pastry version
In the pastry version the cabinet defrosts by stopping the compressor. High-efficiency electronic condenser fans help save energy, and cyclopentane insulation performs about 20% better than traditional foam.

Supercapri Pastry questions
How is the Supercapri Pastry different from the gelato model?
It is the same cabinet set up for pastry. The pastry version defrosts by stopping the compressor instead of using reverse-cycle defrost.
Which ventilation does it use?
ISA offers three: Plus, Plus 1 and Plus 2. Plus 1 uses a single tray inclined at 3 degrees for cold pastry and single portions.
What refrigerant does it use?
R290, a natural refrigerant, in a dual-circuit refrigeration unit with a hermetic compressor.
