About the Millennium 20 LX
Millennium is the gelato display cabinet that bars, gelaterias and vendors around the world have chosen for its reliability. The current version adds high-efficiency R290 refrigeration and a wide choice of design and materials.
It is 135 cm high and comes in 120, 155, 170, 190 and 220 cm lengths, holding 12 to 24 pans. The LX has curved glass that lifts upward; the ST has straight glass that opens downward. This is the 190 cm LX version with 20 pans.
What makes the Millennium 20 LX different
A 7-degree well and even LED light
The well is inclined at 7 degrees and lit by internal LED strips with continuous, even light, so the gelato is easy to see from the customer side.
Clear glass in humid conditions
Heated side glass and a single heated front glass keep condensation off the panes, even in difficult climates.
Cabinets that join cleanly
Concealed side fasteners and self-supporting glass panes allow several Millennium cabinets to be installed side by side as one run.
R290 dual-circuit refrigeration
The refrigeration unit runs on R290, a natural refrigerant, with a hermetic compressor and reverse-cycle defrost. ISA quotes 30% less vibration and noise than its R404A models and up to 10% lower energy use. Cyclopentane insulation performs about 20% better than conventional foam, which helps the cabinet hold climate class 7 (35 °C and 70% humidity).
Shorter defrost cycles
Automatic reverse-cycle defrost finishes in about half the time of a hot-gas cycle, so the surface of the gelato stays intact and the cabinet uses less energy. Pastry versions defrost by compressor stop. High-efficiency electronic condenser fans add to the saving.
Any RAL colour
The sides are high-density wood fibre and the front panel and ventilation grille are sheet metal. Any colour in the RAL range can be specified in a 30-gloss matt finish.
From gelato to pastry
The optional Dual Temperature function switches the cabinet from negative to positive temperature, turning the gelato cabinet into a pastry display with optional stainless steel trays inclined at 7 degrees. A depth-adjustable glass shelf (plus or minus 50 mm) with LED lighting (5700 K) is available on request.
Depth-adjustable shelves
The pastry version takes one or two depth-adjustable glass shelves (plus or minus 50 mm) on methacrylate supports, with optional LED lighting. A single shelf can be fitted to the gelato version as an accessory.
Daily operations
The rear curtain closes magnetically on side runners and can be used with one hand; sliding polycarbonate doors are the alternative. Stainless steel tray spacers sit at the ends of the well and between the pans. The fixed top glass holds service accessories, and a scoop washer with tap or pull-out spray, a storage tray and a cone holder can be added at the rear right.
Easy access to the well
On the Millennium LX the front glass lifts upward on a servo-assisted mechanism; on the Millennium ST it opens downward. Both have a retractable handle. A double 1-inch drain valve in the base of the well makes deep cleaning easy, and the sealed front glass and curtain cut heat loss and keep the well hygienic.
Castors, handles and a magnetic dust filter
Castors with rear brakes, height-adjustable feet and rear handles make the cabinet easy to position; side handles are optional. The condenser dust filter closes magnetically and is simple to clean, and the rear cover gives fast access to the condensing unit even with the platform fitted.

The 190 cm cabinet holds 20 5 L pans (360 x 165 x 120 mm). The whole Millennium range runs from 120 cm (12 pans) to 220 cm (24 pans).
What is the difference between Millennium LX and ST?
