Alfredo José Marrero Páez won the Gelato Festival World Masters challenge in Santa Cruz de Tenerife with his chocolate flavour Origén cacao, and the top three advance to the 2024 Spanish Finals.
The Gelato Festival World Masters stopped at the GastroCanarias trade show in Tenerife, where Spanish gelato artisans competed for a place in the 2024 national finals.
Carpigiani took part in the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago, with live demos of the 191 G and Synthesis 2 on booth 4811.
Carpigiani joined the eighth Salón Gastronómico de Canarias in Tenerife from 23 to 25 May, with themed demos by Carpigiani Gelato University maestro Andrea De Bellis.
Fatemah Ben Salamah took first place at the Kuwait challenge with Darabeel, a gelato inspired by a traditional Kuwaiti dessert. The top three advance to the 2025 Middle East Finals.
Kuwait hosted the first Middle East stop of the new Gelato Festival World Masters tour on 11 May, at the Millennium Hotel and Convention Centre Kuwait.
