For frozen pastry
Layer into gelato cakes, semifreddo and plated desserts for texture.
How to use crumbles
Match the flavour
Top a gelato with its own flavour, such as Pistachio crumble on pistachio gelato, so customers see what they are getting.
Or contrast it
Lemon crumble on berry gelato or Speculoos on coffee gives a two-flavour cup without another tub in the cabinet.
Dry or cream-coated
Dry crumbles give the crispest bite; cream-coated crumbles give richer flavour and colour.
Store well
Keep opened packs sealed and dry so the crumble stays crunchy.

What is the difference between dry and Gluten Free crumbles? +
Dry crumbles are crisp, flavoured crumbs. The Gluten Free range is butter biscuit crumble wrapped in a flavoured cream, which gives a softer, richer bite.
Are the Gluten Free crumbles suitable for coeliac customers? +
They are sold as gluten free. Check the product page and label, and manage cross-contact in your own kitchen before you make any claim to customers.
Can I mix crumble into gelato? +
Yes. Fold crumble through gelato as you extract it from the batch freezer, or layer it with a ripple sauce for a stracciatella-style effect.
How are crumbles packed? +
Most dry crumbles come in 2 × 3 kg packs. Pack details for each crumble are on its product page.
