A battery powered self-serve frozen yoghurt store, gelato store, café or kiosk. The Majors Group in-store battery system is a large battery cabinet that connects to your shop’s power supply. It stores power when it is cheapest and runs your machines, cabinets and freezers when you need it.

How it works
The cabinet sits between the grid and your shop. Your machines stay plugged in as they are.
- The batteries store 64 kWh of power. They are lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4), a very safe battery type.
- The inverters turn battery power into normal three-phase mains power for the shop.
- Charging comes from the grid, and from solar panels or a generator if you have them. Set it to recharge at off-peak rates.
- If the grid fails, the shop runs from the battery.
- Monitoring is over Wi-Fi, on the app and an online portal.
