Artisanal gelato sales in Europe reached almost 10 billion euros in 2022, up 13%. The 11th European Artisanal Gelato Day was previewed at Sigep in January 2023.

Gelato Festival World Masters Visits Zandhoven, Belgium
On 7 February 2023 Carpigiani Benelux hosted the Belgium stop of Gelato Festival World Masters, where more than 25 gelato artisans competed for European final places.
Germany’s Top 3 Gelato Artisans Named at Gelato Festival World Masters
Fifteen German gelato artisans competed at Sigep in Rimini on 21 January 2023. The top three advance to the German finals in 2024.
