How to choose a frozen drink dispenser

01

Count your flavours

Each bowl holds one flavour. Two bowls suit most cafes; three bowls give more choice for busy sites.

02

Think about volume

A 12 L bowl serves many drinks per fill. Larger sites can look at autofill to cut refilling.

03

Fast freeze for fast turnover

Fast-freeze models get to serving temperature quicker and recover faster between rushes.

04

Check bench space and airflow

Measure the counter and leave clearance for ventilation; vertical-airflow models fit closer to walls.

05

Plan cleaning

Choose bowls and spigots that remove without tools so daily cleaning stays quick.

Frequently asked questions

How many bowls do I need? +

Each bowl serves one flavour. Two bowls suit most cafes and takeaways; three bowls give more choice and capacity for cinemas, venues and high-traffic sites.

What does fast freeze mean? +

Fast-freeze machines bring a fresh fill down to serving consistency more quickly and recover faster after a rush, so you sell more in peak periods.

What can I serve from a frozen drink dispenser? +

Slushies and granita are the classics. Many machines also handle frozen cocktails, mocktails, fruit mixes and some dairy-based drinks, depending on the model.

How do I clean a slush machine? +

Empty and wash the bowls, augers and spigots as the manufacturer recommends. Most models we supply have bowls and spigots that come apart without tools.

Can I finance a frozen drink dispenser? +

Yes. We work with New Zealand finance partners, and finance is available for up to 100% of a new asset’s purchase price. See finance options.
